FYREXTRA RIMSEAL FOAM POURER-GENERATOR
The Knowsley SK Fyrextra Rimseal Pourer guides foam directly into the Rimseal of a floating roof storage tank, minimizing foam dispersion by wind and ensuring minimal foam loss.
The Knowsley SK Rimseal pourer has a bronze foam maker at the inlet where air is entrained with the foam solution then propelled up the riser pipe by line pressure. Foam expansion occurs within the larger diameter portion of the foam pourer and the foam is then accurately directed into the tank rimseal area via specially angled discharge nozzles.

Knowsley SK Fyrextra medium expansion foam pourers ensure high quality homogenized foam is delivered to bund areas typically found is tank farms, storage areas, and jetty heads. Pressurised foam solution enters the Knowsley SK medium expansion foam pourer via a calibrate nozzles ensuring the desired flow rate. Air is entrained and the foam solution passes though specially formed laths, ensuring the foam is expanded and homogenised prior to discharge.

FYREXTRA LNG HI-EX FOAM GENERATOR
High expansion foam systems are proven as the most effective means of dealing with LNG spill fires that can burn at temperatures up to three times higher than equivalent oil fires. LNG vapour is flammable at concentrations as low as 5%, quickly exceeding temperatures in excess of 1000 degrees Celsius. Knowsley SK Hi-Ex Foam generator discharges the foam solution via a water turbine close coupled to a fan introducing air which aspirates the solution as it passes through a mesh screen ensuring a expansion ratio of 500:1.
