In combination with the Pulaski axe, the value of the McLeod forest fire rake & pickaxe was quickly established by forest firefighters due to its effectiveness and practicality, and it is now one of the most widely used forest firefighting tools worldwide.
The classic McLeod Fire Rake combines two tools in one. On one side it has a row of six curved teeth and on the other side a sharp hoe ideal for reinforcing and extending firebreaks.
Through study and research, Inforest has designed and manufactured a tool that, thanks to its shape and dimensions, offers the user the best possible work/fatigue ratio.
The steel blade, after sharpening, undergoes heat treatment (48-52 HRC) and painting for maximum durability.
Finally, the handle can be detached from the blade.
Its stability and balance make it easy and safe to use.
