How often should I have my fire extinguishers serviced/refilled?
The fire extinguisher must be maintained once a year by a recognized company. Retreading is necessary every 5 or 10 years depending on the type of fire extinguisher. The owner is required to do a visual inspection 3 times a year and check the manometer pointer if it is in the green area.
What is the difference between maintenance and retreading?
When servicing a fire extinguisher, the pressure is removed, then the shutter is removed, and all parts of the fire extinguisher, internal and external, are checked. During retreading, all maintenance work is carried out and, in addition, the extinguishing material is replaced with a new one.
What is hydraulic testing and when should it be done?

What should I look out for when delivering/receiving fire extinguishers for/from inspection?
