MAIN FUNCTION: SEISMIC DETECTION OF THE VICTIM!
This USAR kit incorporates:
- two SEARCH seismic detectors/sensors enabling seismic detection of buried victims.
LEADER SEARCH MS 1 is a victim location device that combines a MULTI-APP control box and two SEARCH seismic sensors used for seismic detection of buried victims.
The 2 wireless seismic sensors (SEARCH) enabling detection of vibrations caused by a victim stuck under wreckage with an unobstructed range of 100 m! It is possible to add a third wireless seismic sensor to be able to triangulate search areas.
For information, there is a kit already equipped as standard with 3 wireless seismic sensors = LEADER SEARCH MS 2.
The wireless seismic sensors (SEARCH) make the LEADER SEARCH MS listening equipment simple and fast to use compared to cabled systems. On average, rescue teams are 3 times faster.
AN UPGRADEABLE LIFE DETECTOR!
This kit enables seismic detection of victims using the 2 seismic sensors = SEARCH device However, it is possible to upgrade this kit later by adding:
- the colour search camera (= CAM device) for visual victim location,
- and/or the thermal imaging camera head (TIC device) for victim location/thermal detection,
- and/or the camera head waterproof to 90 m (RD90 device) to search for victims trapped in wet or submerged spaces,
- and/or the movement detection function with UWB ground penetrating search radar (SCAN device). It is also possible to add another wireless seismic sensor.

EASIER MOVEMENT IN THE FIELD USING THE BACKPACK!
In a catastrophe, every second counts! That's why the LEADER SEARCH MS is packed in a light, compact and ready-to-use backpack, making it fast and efficient to deploy in the victim search area. This operations backpack is itself placed in a shockproof, waterproof case!
The LEADER SEARCH MS 1 combines a MULTI-APP control box with SEARCH seismic sensor devices to detect the vibrations cause by people beneath the wreckage: scratching, knocks, shouts, etc.
SEISMIC SENSORS DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD
SEARCH seismic sensors are known to be highly sensitive, offering excellent sound quality. The LEADER SEARCH MS 1 includes 2 of these wireless seismic sensors. They have an unobstructed range of 100 m. They are deployed simply and rapidly to cover a broad detection distance. Compared to cabled sensors, there's no problem managing cables trapped in the rubble! They make it possible to locate a victim using different methods such as triangulation. Lightweight and compact, they can easily be slipped into a pocket. They are also fitted with a flexible aerial for optimum connectivity, a carrying strap making them easier to position and carry, and an LED button to indicate connection to the box from a distance.
ADJUSTABLE NOISE FILTER
The noise filters make it possible for rescuers to reduce interfering high- and low-pitched noise coming from outside (pneumatic drills, rescue vehicles, the wind, cables, etc.).
ACCESSORIES FOR EVEN GREATER EFFICIENCY
For even greater efficiency, the seismic sensors can be equipped with:
- spikes: They provide better stability on loose ground, use at material joins or at cracks. The spike also allows improved detection of vibrations in soft ground (sand, earth, etc.).
- magnets: They enable mounting on metal structures commonly found in operations areas.
UPGRADEABLE KIT
This kit can be upgraded at a later date by adding:
