EV FirePro is a targeted suppression system for electric vehicles, designed for rapid activation and containment. It is engineered to integrate into existing water‑based parking fire suppression systems, or to operate as an additional fire protection system in spaces such as residential and commercial parking areas.
It is manufactured in Australia by EV Fire Protection, a global leader in electric vehicle fire‑response technology. EV FirePro combines patented technology, focused cooling beneath the vehicle, and perimeter side‑spray coverage. Constructed entirely from 304/316 stainless steel, it delivers maximum durability even in harsh and demanding environments. Thanks to its robust construction, the system can be installed in home garages, small and large parking facilities, as well as commercial buildings.
How it works
EV FirePro is automatically activated through a Linear Heat Detection (LHD) wire. Upon activation, it sprays water beneath the electric vehicle and provides side‑spray coverage to protect surrounding vehicles and surfaces. The Plus and Signature versions communicate with building FACP and BMS systems.

Additional Water Supply Cover Plates
The water supply cover plates create a clean and protected pathway between the control column and the EV FirePro unit. The system includes two plates with a total length of 2900 mm (1500 mm fixed + 1500 mm adjustable), while additional lengths of 600 mm, 900 mm, and 1200 mm are available for installations requiring greater distance.

Post
When the EV FirePro Plus is not installed against a
wall, a post is required to support the control box and
associated fittings. The post provides a stable
mounting point for the system’s controls and ensures
a clean, professional installation finish.
Three post configurations are available:
- Internal 'surface mount' Post – designed to be securely bolted onto a concrete surface indoors.
- Surface-Mount Post – designed to be securely bolted onto a concrete surface - externally.
- In-Ground Post – extended by 300 mm for embedding and concreting directly into the ground.

The Wall Mount Weather Proofing Kit provides essential protection for the control box and components against rain, dust, and environmental exposure. Designed for systems mounted directly to a wall, this kit ensures long-term reliability and durability in external environments while maintaining a professional finish. It does not come with a post.

The Post Mount Weather Proofing Kit is required when the EV FirePro is installed externally using a post configuration. Exhibition Cover Plate
The Exhibition Cover Plate is a shortened version of the standard supply water cover plate, purposedesigned for trade shows and display environments where space is limited. Ideal for booths with a minimum depth of 3 metres, it allows the EV FirePro system to be installed neatly and functionally while maintaining a realistic presentation of the full setup within a compact exhibition layout.

LHD Wire Demo Accessory 10PK
These disposable Linear Heat Wire sticks come in packs of 10 and are designed to be plugged into the port on a Demonstration unit. Heat the end of the LHD wire with a heat gun or gas flame until it activates the EV FirePro. After use, the end of the LHD can be cut and then used again.

Replacement Linear Heat Wire
The Linear Heat Detection (LHD) Wire is a key component of the EV FirePro system, providing continuous heat sensing along its full length. Designed to automatically trigger activation when a set temperature is reached, it enables early response to thermal events beneath an EV. The LHD wire integrates with the control box or alarm interface for reliable, addressable detection in both indoor and outdoor installations. Available in 68 °C, 88 °C, and 105 °C temperature ratings. For outdoor installations in hot climates, the 105 °C wire is recommended. For moderate environments, the 88 °C wire provides optimal performance for outdoor installations.
