ECOLOGICAL FOAMS FOR SURFACE APPLICATIONS
With a lower admixture ratio and in a highly concentrated form, BIO FOR foam increases the autonomy of firefighters, reducing the times of transport and deployment procedures, and therefore the intervention times. With a range of certifications, it is 100% biodegradable and 100% free of fluorine (F3) or fluorinated derivatives (PFAS chemicals including PFOS or PFOA).
BIO FOR is a highly concentrated foaming product, with excellent extinguishing properties, thanks to its high degree of wetting property that allows water to penetrate more easily and deeply, and, the production of a high quality foam that adheres and retains on vertical surfaces, resulting in faster extinguishing and longer burnback resistance. It is widely used in fighting class A solid fuel fires, forest fires, urban fires, industrial fires, recycling plants, tyre fires, as well as certain types of class B hydrocarbon fires.
It creates a surface layer of firefighting foam very effective even with minimal application. With admixture ratios starting at 0.1% and reaching 3%, it quickly fights the fire. It can even work with all types of water, seawater, brackish or drinking water.
Environmentally friendly foam, 100% free of fluorine (F3), no fluorinated derivatives (PFAS chemicals including PFOS or PFOA) or PBT’s (persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic substances), it is 100% biodegradable.
Excellent performance in extinguishing class A solid fuel fires, class A solid fuel fires, and specific type of class B hydrocarbon fires.
Suitable for class A (solid fuel fires):
- Forest fires
- Urban fires: Houses, warehouses, vehicles, tunnels
- Industrial fires: Landfills, dumps, plastics, paper, rubber, rubber, textiles
- Mining fires
- Suitable also for small class B fires (hydrocarbon fires) such as: vehicle fires, fuel tank leaks
Compatible for use in:
- Land-based fire fighting systems (CAFS, foam mixers)
- Portable and/or fixed foam firefighting systems (foam box, foam generators)
- Fire fighting vehicles with suitable foam mixer
- All fire foam admixture systems (containing corrosion inhibitors)
- Foam cannons
- Helicopters with Buckets
- System with both air aspirated or non-air aspirating foam discharge devices
The lower admixture ratio and highly concentrated form of the material increases the autonomy of firefighters, reducing intervention times and time-consuming transport and deployment procedures of the media.
Depending on the situation we recommend the:
- BIO FOR C With an admixture ratio of just 0.1% (Ultra-concentrated) for class A and 0.3% for class B - hydrocarbon fires.
- BIO FOR N With an admixture ratio of only 0.% (very concentrated) for class A and 0.5% for class B - hydrocarbon fires.
- BIO FOR S With an impurity ratio of only 0.5% (concentrated) for class A and 3% for class B - hydrocarbon fires.
