MCR J-FLO - COMPREHENSIVE JET VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR GARAGES

Jet ventilation systems are used to fumigate underground garages as an alternative to conventional duct-based systems. The operating principle of jet ventilation devices resembles a piston, in which smoke and fire gases are forced from the inlet opening to the exhaust (smoke extraction) opening throughout the garage.

Jet-type ventilation systems can also be used to ventilate garages. They work in conjunction with the CO and LPG detection system, initially diluting the concentration and ultimately removing the hazardous gases.

Jet systems for the ventilation of parking areas:

1. Ensure a temperature that allows the safe escape of garage users (below 60°C up to 1.80 m above the floor)
2. Ensure visibility that allows the safe escape of garage users (not less than 10 m up to 1,80 m high)
3. Facilitates rescue operations by preventing temperature rise above 100°C at a distance of more than 10 m from the fire source
4. Helps to protect the stability of the building by keeping the temperature below 200°C at a height of more than 2,50 m from the floor

The MCR j-FLO integrated jet ventilation system includes:

• Supply and exhaust fans (e.g. MCR Monsun, MCR Pasat and MCR Monsun R), fire resistant F200, F 300, F 400, F 600 (unidirectional or reversible)
• MCR Bora jet fans, fire resistance F 300, F 400 (unidirectional or reversible)

• Fire barriers for fire ventilation systems (e.g. MCR FID S, MCR WIP, MCR WIP PRO)
• Power cables, cable organisation, electrical installation equipment
• Fittings for CO, LPG and smoke detection

The configuration and quantity of system components depends on the surface area, height, requirements, structure and location of the area under study.
