HALLIGAN BAR FOR FORCED ENTRY INFOREST
Multi-purpose tool for drilling, torsion, cutting, pressing or impact.
The most versatile hand tool used on urban fires.
The Halligan extrication crowbar is one of the most versatile hand tools with a long tradition of six decades in urban firefighting.
It is a multi-purpose crowbar/tool used for drilling, twisting, cutting, applying pressure or impact, as appropriate. It is a two-sided tool that on one side consists of 2 sharpened edges or pullers while on the opposite side there is a scepter and at a 90° angle a tapered spear, all necessary for quick entry into confined spaces.
The fireman can use the side of the skewer or puller to break locks or use it as a lever by wedging the spear into the door frame near the lock or door handle and then forcefully pushing the door. The other side with the sharpened edges can be used on chains or padlocks so that by twisting they break.
The crowbar can also be used on sloping roofs. By wedging the tip into the roof, the crowbar provides a point of support for firefighters operating vertically.
The bollards are made of heat-treated steel. They have high hardness, ductility and impact resistance avoiding internal fractures that weaken them and low vibration transmission. The crowbar has a handle with ribbed grips that do not allow the hand to slip when force is applied, thus avoiding injuries or bruising.
The finish includes anti-corrosion protection and oven paint.
Chrome plating is not included and is offered as an option (on request).
Material: Chrome alloy steel (40Cr Alloy Steel) with nickel chrome plating.
