A manufacturer of fire protection systems in Germany, Rudolf Hensel GmbH was founded in 1922 in Hamburg as a varnish and paint factory. Initially, its product range consisted mainly of paints specifically for use in the marine industry and in the 1950s, the company established itself as a market leader in Scandinavia as well.
