It consists of a metal cabinet made of lacquered DKP sheet metal (for interiors) or galvanized sheet metal (for exteriors), with special powder coating in red (RAL 3000) or white (RAL 9003).

The cabinet is fitted with a front door with concealed hinges that allow it to open 180º. The door is fitted with EURO LOCK (Rotating lock adapted for the fitting of security tape or wire to prevent tampering). It is also possible, on request, to fit a security lock with a key common to all lockers. It is possible to connect the water supply bilaterally and the water connection holes allow connection with a 1″ or 2″ water pipe, from the side, back and top.

The powder coating used to paint the cabinet is the highest quality polyester facade type facade paint, (e.g. JOTUN), to provide very good weather resistance, meet the requirements of AAMA 2603, and is Qualicoat Class 1 and Standard GSB certified.

The paint coating provides the optimum combination of corrosion protection and decorative finish to be resistant to atmospheric aging in accordance with the requirements of AAMA 2603, to meet the requirements of GSP or equivalent. The powder is lead-free and TGIC*-free, and maintains a high level of gloss and color fastness.

*TGIC – a chemical compound of isocyanate triglycidate.

WITHIN THE FIREFIGHTING CABINET INCLUDES:

Internal hydrant DN25 with 25mm semi-rigid fire hose or internal hydrant DN52 with reducer in DN25 for connection to 25mm semi-rigid fire hose
Fire hose reel in RAL 3000 color hinged for 180°, with brass water spindle and brake to control the unwinding force
Semi-rigid fire hose f25 mm, 20 m or 30 m long according to PN-EN 694, fixed connection with water spindle by crimping the hose with aluminum sleeve
Heavy-duty aluminum hydrant (nozzle), heavy-duty adjustable beam or heavy-duty plastic PWh-25 according to PN-EN-671-1, fixed connection to the fire hose by crimping the nozzle with an aluminum sleeve. The diameter of the nozzle shall be increased or decreased to allow for the possibility of firing a straight beam and a “FOG” water spray. Its operation shall be in accordance with table A.1

Attention! The dependence of the flow rate Q on the pressure P is given by the equation: Q = K√10P, where Q is expressed in liters / minute and P in megapascals.

BASES AND SUPPORTS FOR INTERNAL HYDRANTS FIREFIGHTING CABINETS

For the suspension of the cabinet in an outdoor area, the supply of a support base is required so that the cabinet can be placed on it. The base is to be placed on the ground in a suitable way to withstand weather stresses. It shall be made of galvanised metal (2 mm thick) with a polyester paint (RAL 3000) or white (RAL 9003), corresponding to that of the ballast cabinet. The height of the bracket is selected for a specific type of hydrant 25, 33 or 52 so that the valve is at a height of 1350 +/- 100 mm from the floor level.
